Hotel 1898 Barcelona

During our short transit stay in Barcelona, we had a pleasant experience at the hotel. The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony where we enjoyed watching the sunsets. The staff were polite and went out of their way to assist us, making us feel welcome. The prime location right next to La Rambla was convenient for exploring the city's attractions and dining options. Overall, a comfortable stay with excellent service.

The hotel had a beautiful ambience, great location, and fine views from the rooftop bar. The room was beautifully decorated with a large and comfortable bed. The staff were very polite and helpful, assisting with restaurant recommendations and attractions. The breakfast was excellent and surpassed expectations.

The staff greeted me warmly and provided really good service. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and its facilities, including the spa and rooftop bar, were fine. The location was perfect, with easy access to all shops and famous landmarks, as well as a short walk to the Gothic Quarter.

We were kinda surprised when we found a handwritten note from the housekeeping staff cute us to our room. It made us feel valued as guests. The room was also clean with comfortable linens and a large bathroom. The rooftop pool and terrace were perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. a great experience at 1898.

I had an incredible experience at this venue! The location is ideal, right in the heart of the city. I loved the luxurious feel of the hotel, it was like stepping into a movie set. The staff was so helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. I particularly appreciated the room amenities and the terrace was a lovely touch. The spa and wellness center was the ultimate indulgence, I could have spent all day there.

I can't recommend this place enough! The staff could benefit from additional training, but it didn't detract from my experience.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to the main market and within walking distance of everything. The room was spacious with a huge and comfortable bed, and the bathroom had music piped in. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel offered complimentary walking tours in the evening and yoga on the rooftop terrace. The spa in the cellar was a real bonus with a steam room and sauna. The breakfast had a variety of delicious local meat and expensive cheeses.

Some of the front desk staff members were a bit stand-offish, giving a cold reception during check-in.

Amazing find! We had a superior room with a fantastic view and it was so quiet. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere! The breakfast buffet was amazing, so many options to choose from. The terrace pool and bar were also a great place to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly and helpful, they gave us great recommendations for tours and sightseeing. The rooms werevery comfy and tidy.

As adventure travelers, we absolutely loved the Hotel's perfect location in the heart of the city. The indoor pool, sauna, and steam room were a great bonus for some post-adventure relaxation.

As young people, we loved the rooftop pool and bar with great cocktails and scenic views. The staff, especially Estefania, was friendly and helpful, recommending the best places to visit and eat. The rooms were super clean and the location was excellent, close to La Rambla and Placa de Catalunya. We also enjoyed the tastefully decorated lounge areas with comfortable sofas.
